In the small town of Cumberland Beach, Ontario, on the night of August 31, 1990, Leah Sousa, a bright 13-year-old, was brutally murdered while her mother, Lora, was severely injured. The attacker, who entered the home between 1:30 and 3:00 AM, left little evidence behind except for a bloody Nike sneaker print. The case remains unsolved despite interviews with over 1,800 people and the consideration of a suspect, Brian Elson. Lora survived but lost all memory of the event. Decades later, the community still grapples with the unanswered question: Who killed Leah, and will justice ever be served? What are your theories for this case?
